Adversarial combat within the courtroom has been the traditional model of resolving legal disputes. However, it may not always be the most effective approach to resolving corporate disputes, and can become a costly and damaging exercise with little satisfaction for either party.

Samuel CHACKO heads the Dispute Resolution practice of Legis Point LLC. Mr.Chacko is an experienced litigator who has appeared at every level of the Court structure in Singapore, including its highest court, the Court of Appeal. A number of cases that he has been involved in have been reported in the Singapore Law Reports, some of which have become landmark decisions in Singapore's legal landscape.

Besides his standing as a skilled litigator in Singapore, Mr. Chacko is also highly experienced in other techniques of dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation in Singapore and the region. With an active international arbitration practice, he has been lead counsel in a number of substantial international arbitrations involving complex cross-border legal and factual issues.
